Everything was exceptional. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The location for us was fantastic. We've stayed all over central London and for us, this location is the best so far. It was an easy 10 minute walk to Covent Garden/British Museum and the theatre district which suited us perfectly for our needs. The breakfast was amazing with a very good selection. It appears all dietary requirements are catered for as I noticed a gluten free section/alternative milks etc etc. The hot breakfast and continental offering was good and comprehensive. Every staff member we encountered were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately we had sickness on our trip which meant we had to extend our stay. The hotel staff were amazing and looked after us. Staff brought us soft drinks which was a kind gesture and accommodated us with the extra requirements we needed for the room at our time of need.

We were upgraded to Diamond guests on arrival, which included a room upgrade, complimentary breakfast, chocolates, and a dessert in the room – such a lovely surprise! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, from reception to breakfast and housekeeping. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a gorgeous bathroom. The location was excellent, just a short walk from Holborn tube station and right next to Russell Square, making it easy to explore the city. A fantastic stay from start to finish – we’ll definitely be back!

Stay was fine only problem with this room was access to the bath as the sink was next to the area for entering the bath and the shower screen fixed so getting in and out was difficult for older people like ourselves. This is the only time I have ever had such a problem in this hotel. We always use it and it is usually really good. Fortunately we were only there overnight this time so we managed. Breakfast is always really good here and the location very convenient for us and for exhibition and events in town.

The staff had left a cake and happy birthday note in the room and had made a cake out of a towel on the bed, which made our trip that little bit more special.
